As we all know by now, fuel prices rise and fall. Lately, heating oil, gasoline and other products derived from crude oil have been skyrocketing on the global market. These higher fuel prices are a burden for us all, but with Fredericks Fuel, you never need to worry about run-outs and delays – and we have several payment options available to our customers.
If you worry about rising prices, then our capped price program plan may be for you. This plan caps your next winter’s delivery price at $3.09 a gallon. Or, you may benefit from our monthly budget plan, which spreads payments over 11 months to make sure there are no surprises on your bill.
Below, read about how Fredericks can be by your side, helping you cope with the fuel price fluctuations.
When Russia invaded Ukraine, crude oil prices began to soar to over $100 per barrel for the first time in nearly a decade. This global conflict further compounds existing supply shortages and inflation. Fuel providers don’t profit from price hikes; we actually end up losing out when customers are forced to cut back on their fuel usage. This is one reason why it’s important to us to help make your budgeting easier and more straightforward.
If fuel price spikes are getting to you, or you’ve had enough of big payments over the holidays, take advantage of a monthly budget plan, which keeps your payments manageable all year long. Even when fuel prices are low, the cost to heat your home can quickly add up, especially in the winter. Our monthly budget payment plan offers relief by allowing you to pay the same amount each month.
Here’s how it works: We’ll estimate your annual heating bill and spread the cost over eleven months. At the end of the oil heating season, if you have used more fuel than the amount we have estimated, you’ll pay the difference. If you have used less fuel than estimated, we will send you a check for the difference.
Why pay more than necessary for your heating oil when you can lock in a fair rate now?
Here is how it works: Let’s say you pay for your heating oil now at $3.34 a gallon with your credit or debit card. This is the cost of your heating oil at a capped price of $3.09 a gallon, plus a 25-cent-per-gallon nonrefundable program fee. This fee makes it possible for your delivery price to go lower than the $3.09 capped price if market conditions permit. If you pay by cash or with a check, we offer a 5-cent-per-gallon discount off the nonrefundable program fee, so our total cost, when paid with cash or check, would be $3.29 a gallon.
